Loved the recent episode. I was hoping Margaret and Nucky would hook up. Loved the song that was playing too

It truly was. Never in my life did I think I could be attracted to Steve Buscemi... I just love how he commanded that scene, "I don't like game, Margeret."

I completely relate!! I never, ever, in my life saw Steve Buschemi as any way a sex object! But, in this series, he is definitely attractive. That last scene I was yelling at the TV - "Just get it on already!!" Then a big "WOOT!" when they did. Nucky's character is just amazing.

LOL

I'm really liking the Lucky and Gillian scenes as well, who knows how that will end up.

Poor Pearl

Even if I think Jimmy should go back to his son and Angela. :| I still kinda liked them together. Guess I'm a bit torn over Jimmy, he worries me (kinda like we worry for Jason).

HAHA! That's hilarious (the card).

I love that Gretchen Mol is in the series. I love her. Gosh, I wonder how old she was (in the story) when she had Jimmy?

ROFL Raki!! I love that e-card, because it's exactly how I feel!

And Violet, I agree with you, Jimmy's mom but have been a baby herself when she had him. Jimmy is another character that I can't decide if I like or not. One episode, he's wonderful and caring, the next he's short-sighted and selfish. But, that's what I like about this show as well. No character is "good" or "bad". They simply survive and deal with what life has thrown at them.

LOVED This last episode!

Margaret and Nucky were simply adorable. However I'm pissed at Nucky for ditching on poor Margaret at the end! I'm still waiting for crazy ass Lucy to really flip out, I think what we saw in the dressing room was nothing...wait for her to get drunk and really cause a scene Rolling Eyes

I'm so shipping Lucky and Gillian, and I loved the look on his face when he found out that she is Jimmy's mom! LOL .... and while we are on the topic of Lucky, we got a little FFN this episode. Well HBO, if you are going to go there for BE, you need to go there for S4 TB! I suggest a little FFN from our Viking Twisted Evil

Jimmy and Al are pretty bad ass this episode as well.

I am just waiting for Lucy to pull the crazy card too, Raki! That is going to be fun to watch.

And ummm... Lysol?!?!?! Really?!?!! OUCH!!!!! I don't think that stuff belongs THERE. Suspect

And somehow, I think that Nucky's going to be pissed that Margaret is doing that.

The look on Lucky's face when he found out he's screwing Jimmy's MOM not his wife was priceless. Having the FFN on a male for once was fun!

I shudder at the thought of using Lysol like that...not good No and I think your right about Nucky not approving of her doing that to herself.

Oh and how freaking great was this scene?

However seeing the spat between Jimmy and Al after the fact (back at the brothel) worries me. I like these two working together, but something tells me that may not last. Oh and how heatbreaking was it to see Al show his true emotions (instead of just getting pissed) in regards to his son?

I love the tension between Al and Jimmy. There's always tension, they don't completely trust eachother. Which knowing how off-balance Al is, is probably a good thing.

Somehow, I think Nucky wants Margaret to be pregnant. It's the whole "Catholic Boy" thing Lucy was aluding to.

How creepy was that guy (can't remember his name) when he kept whipping himself while looking at a picture of Margaret?

Yikes!

Finally caught up on the series. I'm really liking it. I too was a little concerned that jimmy left his wife and son so easily but now after the fact we can see that he was not totally off base with his accusations.

I really liked the new character introduced last Sunday, Richard Harrow the former WW1 sniper Jimmy meets.

The ending for last Sundays episode was amazing, and I couldn't help but cheer for Pearls sake. I really hope we see more of of Richard with Jimmy.

Oooh and Jack Huston who plays Richard is pretty cute too Razz

I LOVE this show!

I just watched the newest episode, too. Nucky really has a soft spot for mothers and children. I wonder if we'll hear more about the backstory with this mysterious "son." Though, I have a feeling he's alive and we have already met him...

You may be GS....

But all in all, this series is an elaborate snoozer. I really expected more in the way of action. I must be jaded. The performances are great, the costumes and sets are fantastic, but the story plods and I get sometimes that they have added certain elements to the story that are meant to titillate and rather than add to the story line. I know, I know, how can I say that being that I am a fan of the most sex ridden TV show since....ever.

Thing is, this show is beautiful in everything but story line. The best thing about it is that it holds the spot for nine pm on Sundays. And the worst thing about it is it will be direct competition for True Blood during the GG and Emmy's particularly after the great year True Blood had this last season with the better story line and action. And believe me, the critics would rather give those awards to the "high brow" shows than the genre shows...

The true test? I only watch the first airing....After that...I haven't seen the episode more than once.

I'm really enjoying this show because it's brand new. I have no idea what's going to happen next or what's to come in the following seasons. Loved the scene with Jimmy and his mother.

I love True Blood and I think they should have won a lot of awards during their first season, I just think their spotlight is dimming a bit. I hope you guys don't hate me for saying this but I watch the majority of the shows they're competing with and I think they give something more than TB.

I don't see TB winning Best Show...

I agree Violet, I love me some TB as well but I fear they will be overlooked when compared to so of these other shows.

I LOVED the scene with Jimmy and his mom, didn't care so much for his return with Angela.

I'm still worried about her taking off to France
