Hahaha , I may not be as old, but my dad was born in 1927 and he loved that kind of old stuff and we spent alot of time listening to him reminince. Twisted Evil

His favorites were the Lone Ranger, first on the radio and then later on TV, and strangely enough he was a huge fan of Scooby Doo. He also thought that just once the Coyote should win over the Road Runner. Whistle

It was always funny to me. My dad was a very serious and care worn fellow who didnt really have alot of time to watch tv. For some reason tho, every sunday, he and I would wake up and watch cartoons together. They made him laugh. When the cartoons were done, then the Lone Ranger would come on and we would watch that too. He would talk about growing up and what things were like back then and running home to listen to it on the radio. He really painted a vivid picture of what things were like back then. When it was over with, he would go back to work and back to life again, but for a little bit, time was suspended while the Coyote, Tonto, and Scooby ruled.

I was just opposite. I thought everyday was have fun and cause problems day. When my daughters were young I would get them from grade school by telling the teachers they had Dr.s appointments. I would take them mountain buggying and get them back to school before the school bus took them home. Of course they didn't tell their Mother until a couple of years ago. I still hear about those days. Twisted Evil

Remember the old Platex Living Gloves? They still have them. You would wear them to protect your hands. Too bad you could never feel anything, would drop dishes 9 times out of 10, couldnt tell if the dishes were ever clean or not, and would STILL get the ends wet and end up with wet , cold, nasty hands, haha!

Now that is true. I've used those things before. They are dangerous. I used to have to work the crank. My Mom would keep me awake by hitting me with wet clothes. What's that old saying. AHHH the good ole days. RRRight. Rock On
