All right! I finally watched the first three epi's with my sister last night... (along with some yummy chocolate martinis) and all I can say is WOW!! The zombies are amazing! I love how the show is character driven. Every character has a great story. (And can I say, I really can't blame Rick's wife too much? Woowzers.)

When they were chopping up the zombie and rubbing the blood and "stuff" on them, I felt a little ill.

It's just on soooooo late! I'll definitely be PVR'ing this one tonight. I'm a little disapointed that there's only 3 episodes left.

my husband and I watched this last night. We could not watch the first episode because we could not find one to play for us right. We cannot use Hulu or AMC's site because we are in Germany.

I digress...

WE LOVED IT! So gruesome, but at the same time it is so intense. I was dancing around on the couch all nervous when they walked through the zombies. Made me nervous. The characters are all so amazing.

I really wish I could see that first episode, but I get what is going on and I loved it!

The finale sort of disappointed me last night.
Spoiler:
did anybody else notice that Jenner whispered something to Rick before the ran out of the CDC? I bet Laurie is preggers, and it's Shane's

I think you could possibly be right.

Also about this being a short season. There have been many a first year seasons got he route of a short run to test the waters so to speak. I'm hoping that is the case with this.

Me to GS. I hope we don't have like a year's hiatus, just for 6 episodes. This was a good show to pass the time until the TB hiatus is over.

You read my mind Butter!

Spoiler:
I get a feeling she will just try to pass it off as Rick's though. I am not a fan of her. I didn't like how she jumped to her husband's best friend almost right after he "died". While some may say that she was just grieving and she really thought he was dead, I was not a fan of the way she went about it. Of course, she had good taste Wink

But yes, this finale was not very interesting. Maybe it was just because they did not give us enough time to get into the show.

Spoiler:
She made me mad with the way she blew Shane off after Rick came back. I mean i get that Shane sort of lied to her but still don't treat him like he has the plague.

I couldn't agree more Tiff. Im gonna forget the show by then. 6 episodes was not nearly enough to keep me waiting around a year

Walking Dead S1 will be available on DVD/Blu-Ray March 8, 2011.
But I think the price is a bit excessive for only 6 episodes. Shrug
